Naomi Braun

Naomi Braun (“Mac”) of Merrill, born Nov. 3, 1922 passed away peacefully at Bell Tower February 19, 2018.

She WAS, and WILL ALWAYS BE, YOUNG AT HEART!

She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. William E. Braun of Merrill, sister Lynne Reiger and sons Gary M. Braun and Peter F. Braun.

Mom was raised in Wauwatosa, WI, graduated from Wauwatosa High School and attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, WI.

She was accomplished in the fine arts and enjoyed design and architecture. In her earlier days she produced a number of wonderful paintings. She also loved Big Band music and could “cut a rug” with the best of them!

Throughout her life, Naomi generously contributed and supported charitable causes.

She was a dedicated wife and mother to raising a family of five children and managing an active household.

While she loved the family and friends excursions to the beloved cabin in Canada,

she  cherished  her home life surrounded by the endless beauty of nature and wildlife on the Wisconsin River.

Most of all she loved her family and lived a life filled with verve and sweetness and had an infectious love of life.
