Ascension Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Audiology services at its Merrill Clinic.
Doctor of Audiology Karen Teter will provide services in Merrill twice a month to patients of all ages starting Feb. 14. Dr. Teter will continue to provide audiology services at Ascension Medical Group Clinics in Rhinelander and Tomahawk where she has been practicing since 2002.
Audiology services available at Ascension Medical Group include hearing testing and evaluation, prescribing and fitting of hearing aids, prescribing assistive and adaptive devices, hearing loss prevention programs and consultation, balance assessment, and rehabilitation.
“I believe in a friendly, personal and professional approach to hearing health and look forward to bringing this service to the community in a collaborative approach with my colleagues at the Merrill Clinic,” said Dr. Teter.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in audiology and speech science from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan; A Master of Arts in Communication Disorders form the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut; and a Clinical Doctorate in audiology through the Arizona School of Health Sciences, Mesa, Arizona.
