Comedy night returns to Les & Jim’s
A sure cure for the winter blues
The legendary silent film actor/comedian Charlie Chaplin once said, “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” By the time February rolls around in Wisconsin, the long winter months can take a heavy toll on even the most optimistic northern Wisconsinite. The good news is a remedy is on the way.
Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes in Merrill has two of the Midwest’s funniest comedians coming to Merrill on Friday, Feb. 16. Comedian Kevin Cahak will kick off the show at 8 p.m. followed by the very funny Frank Roche.
Born and raised in Detroit, Frank Roche is one of the most high energy acts on the comedy circuit today. Fusing rapid-fire antics, improv and dead-on celebrity impressions have made Frank a crowd favorite coast to coast. Named Festival Favorite at the renowned Boston Comedy Festival and winner of Comedy’ Central’s “Michigan Comedy Survivor,” and featured on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” NBC’s “Night Shift,” and Comedy Central. Roche headlines some of the best comedy clubs, casinos and venues across the country. From LA to NY, Toronto to the Florida keys, you don’t want to miss Roche’s show.
