The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the Merrill Police Department executed a search warrant yesterday on a residence in the city of Merrill.
According to information released by the sheriff’s office, over $3,000 cash was seized along with approximately three ounces of heroin with an estimated street value of $28,000.
A 23-year-old man was taken into custody and remains in the Lincoln County Jail. The suspect will appear this afternoon in Lincoln County Court to be charged.
This case is the result of an ongoing joint investigation between drug officers with the Merrill Police Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
