MHS Senior Kate Peterson enjoyed a solid night in the Bluejay Girls basketball season opener at Medford High School on November 16; hitting 60% from the field for 6 points, 3 assists and a pair of steals to boot.
This past fall, Kate was a member of the successful Bluejay Girls varsity volleyball squad which made their second consecutive trip to the state’s big dance in Green Bay, as a Defensive Specialist. Next Spring, Peterson will once again join her fellow teammates on the Bluejay Girls Soccer team.
Aside from sports, Kate is a member of the MHS Octagon Club and Accelerated Arts Program. In her free-time, Kate enjoys spending time drawing and spending time with family and friends in the outdoors.
Daughter of Grant Peterson and Linda Peterson of Merrill, Kate currently maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Following graduation next spring, Peterson plans to attend UW-Stout in Menomonie as an Art Major.
