Madalia Burrows has been selected as Prairie River Middle School’s Youth Optimist of the Month for the month of September. Madalia was nominated by Mrs. Sara Bergh.
“Madalia is a self-motivated learner who strives to make every day great for herself and others,” Bergh stated. “Madalia is friendly and kind to others. She shows and models a driving initiative in all aspects pf learning, upon entering the classroom and continues for the entire class period. Madalia respectfully communicates with others. Being in spanish this semester Madalia recognizes values from different perspectives and cultures. Madalia is willing to share these values to enhance the classroom environment.”
