The Merrill Lions Club recently installed new members. The new Lions are (front row, from left) Polly Schneider, Kim Sample, Denise Klade, Melissa Omernick, Rebecca Kriehn; back row, Duane O’Brien, David Heckman, Lyman Hatz, Ken Kriehn and Ken Neff. Not pictured are Andrew Duerkop, Jill Kasper Krueger, Corey Krueger, Jerry Lynn and Michele Rathke. The Merrill Lions welcome the new members to the largest service organization in the world with over 1.4 million members, which dates back 100 years. The Merrill Lions donate to many local needs including Park City Gardens, DARE, Merrill High School Scholarship, Youth Turkey Hunt, Merrill Fire Department Tree of Hope, Pine Crest holiday gifts, Merrill Baseball Association, eyeglasses for local residents and many other worthy causes.
