Bluejay Boys Soccer team captain Hayden Smith has been named Athlete of the Week for the week of September 25th.
A two year starter on the soccer squad as a Junior, Hayden has been competing in soccer since his freshman year. During the winter sports season Hayden is a member of the Merrill varsity wrestling team and has been a part of the Merrill Wrestling program since age 5.
In his free time Hayden enjoys running and spending time with family and friends as well as participating in Rainbow End camps at the YMCA.
Son of Tom and Angie Smith of Merrill, Hayden currently maintains a 3.5 GPA and upon graduation, plans to attend UW-Stevens Point with a major in Law and Science.
