On Thursday, Aug. 3, The Community Blood Center partnered with VFW Post and Auxiliary 2687 of Tomahawk, VFW Post and Auxiliary 1638 of Merrill, and VFW Post 10203 of Hamburg for its 25th Annual Merrill MASH Blood Drive, held at the Merrill National Guard Army. To recognize the 200 units of blood received at this event, the Never Forgotten Honor Flight, which flies veterans of the WWII, Korean War and Vietnam eras to their respective war memorials, received a donation of $1,000.
