On September 8, over 95 local boys and girls gathered at Jay Staduim to compete in the Merrill Knights of Columbus Punt, Pass, and Kick competition.
There are twelve different divisions and the winner of each division has the opportunity to move on and compete at Siren High School on October 2. Winners from that competition will move on to a state wide competition held at DePere High School on Octobter 22.
The winners for each age group follow along with the runner up:
Girls 6/7 year old: Kendell Klug (90 points); Runner up- Maddie Barker (53 points)
Boys 6/7 year old: Alexander Bushar (130 points); Runner up- Jamis Hanson (88 points)
Girls 8 year old: Grace Reimann (121 points); Runner up- Reese Kaminski (76 points)
Boys 8 year old: Erik Grunenwald (148.5 points); Runner up- Ryker Remington (103.5 points)
Girls 9 year old: Grace Hoff (134 points); Runner up- Olivia Barker (101.5 points)
Boys 9 year old : Tyson Ott (145 points); Runner up- Demetrius Morgan (136 points)
Girls 10 year old: Ava Detert (143.5 points); Runner up- Haley Rindt (129.5 points)
Boys 10 year old: E.J. Weix (206.5 points); Runner up- Noah Klug (188.5 points)
Girls 11 year old: Mia Ott (146 points)
Boys 11 year old: Sam Reimann (232 points); Runner up- Jayce Oberg (211.5 points)
Boys 12 year old: Carter Baade (190 points); Runner up- Tyson Glisch (185 points)
