Event to aid efforts to stop human trafficking

Merrill event aims to help stop human trafficking

Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) is a non-profit organization founded by Tim Ballard. O.U.R. assists governments around the world in the rescue of human-trafficking and sex-trafficking victims, with a special focus on children. O.U.R. aids with planning, preventing, capturing and prosecuting offenders.
Operation Underground Railroad uses covert operations with jump teams consisting of former CIA agents and US special operations forces. After victims are rescued, justice for the perpetrators is pursued. Survivors begin to heal through recovery and rehabilitation.
Now private citizens and organizations can rise up and help. We in Merrill can help Operation Underground Railroad. On Oct. 11 Christians Helping Along Other Christians youth group (C.H.A.O.S) from Bible Presbyterian Church will host a Push-Up Challenge. C.H.A.O.S. youth group is challenging other groups (for example, church youth groups, sports teams, dance troupes, school groups, and individuals) to join. You can help by participating or by supporting those who accept the challenge.
Join them at 7 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Bible Presbyterian Church (1605 Co. Rd. G, Merrill). If you have questions or need more information, contact Jenni Radtke at 715-212-3349 or [email protected].
All proceeds raised will be sent to O.U.R. to help rescue many children.
