The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a one-vehicle motor vehicle accident which occurred earlier this afternoon.
According to a press release issued by the Sheriff’s Office a short time ago; at 2:50 this afternoon, Lincoln County dispatchers were advised of a one-vehicle rollover on CTH D-near Old CTH D-near Tomahawk.
It was reported a female party was partially ejected from the vehicle, prompting response from Lincoln County deputies, Lincoln County Ambulance and the Tomahawk Fire Department. An ensuing investigation revealed a 36-year old Tomahawk woman was traveling westbound on CTH D when she lost control of the vehicle, entered a nearby ditch and rolled over. Tomahawk Ambulance requested Med Evac Helicopter respond to the scene and the victim was flown to Wausau Aspirus Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
