CM CARES, the charitable foundation of Church Mutual Insurance Company, recently awarded $25,000 to North Central Wisconsin Fellowship of Christian Athletes to help the organization broaden its outreach in campus ministry.

“We are so pleased to contribute to this great organization,” said Laura Hughes, chief marketing officer of Church Mutual and board member of CM CARES. “We are committed to supporting organizations that make a difference in our communities and help instill strong values in our young people. Supporting FCA further demonstrates our commitment to protecting the greater good.”

CM CARES’ contribution will help the FCA broaden its outreach in campus ministry across the north central Wisconsin area. Its campus ministry is led by student-athletes and supported by staff members on both K-12 and college campuses. These “huddle” groups meet weekly on respective campuses.

“FCA is extremely pleased to have a supporting partner in CM CARES in the north central Wisconsin region, as their efforts will allow us to expand our ministry on campuses and in communities throughout the area,” said Jeff Tarras, FCA regional director of north central Wisconsin.

FCA’s ministry promotes four values: integrity, service, teamwork and excellence. It provides opportunities for middle and high school students, including sport camps, community service events and campus ministry. The local FCA serves about 60 campuses in north central Wisconsin.
