Holy Cross Associates spread Christmas cheer

For the tenth year in a row, the Associates of the Holy Cross Sisters have reached out to the students at Copper Lake/Lincoln Hills School in Irma, to spread Christmas cheer. Again this year the Holy Cross Sisters Office of Communications and Holy Cross Associates teamed up to address Christmas cards for the students.

The cards will be included in their Christmas gift bags which are overseen by the Foster Grandparents Program.

“We started sending greeting cards to the incarcerated youth 10 years ago when Sister Benedicta Berger volunteered as a foster grandparent,” said Russ Mancl, Director of Communications. He added, “It’s a way for us to carry on some of the good works she did.”

Sister Benedicta now resides at Bell Tower Residence Assisted Living in Merrill.
