Senior, second-year goalie Bryce Broeking’s 94% save percentage helped the new East-Merrill varisty hockey coop team hang with the up-tempo Ashwaubenon Jaguars last Thursday, resulting in a 2-2 deadlock.
Son of Bruce and Heather Broeking of Merrill, Bryce holds a 3.0 GPA at MHS. Bryce has enjoyed being a part of the Merrill hockey program since age four and enjoys hunting and fishing with family, especially excursions to hunt elk in Colorado.
As for the future, Broeking plans to attend NTC following graduation, majoring in Architectural Design.
