Charges filed Lincoln County Circuit Court

Kimberly L Reid-34 of Minocqua, Wis.  was charged November 14 with Felony charges of two counts of Possession of Narcotic Drugs, 2 counts of Forgery-Uttering as well as 2 counts of Misdemeanor Obtain Prescription Drug w/ Fraud and four counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. According to court records, Reid was reportedly involved in an incident in the City of Merrill on October 10, during which she reportedly attempted to fill a prescription of 90 Oxycodone pills, which was later found to be fraudulent. Upon further investigation, it was discovered an identical incident involving Reid had occurred on October 5 at another Merrill pharmacy.

Joshua A. Cortright- 33 of Wausau, was charged November 14 with Felony charges of Bail Jumping and Forgery-Uttering.
According to court records, Cortright was reportedly involved in an incident in the City of Merrill on March 24, during which a check was presented to a local financial institution which listed Cortright ‘written in’ as the account holder. An employee at the institution reportedly identified the check as being associated with a closed
account. The party who presented the check, indicated to investigating officers the check had been provided to her by Cortright, along with other items of his personal party given to her while Cortright was incarcerated at the Lincoln County Jail.
Cortright reportedly denied the knowledge of the check. Upon further investigation, it was discovered he had discussed the fraudulent check with the presenting party on multiple occasions.

Timothy L. Kaufman- 40 of Merrill, was charged November 16 with Felony Misappropriate ID- Avoid Penalty Info and Misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
According to court records, Kaufman was reportedly a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop in the City of Merrill on November 12.
During the stop, Kaufman reportedly gave an officer incorrect information as to is identity. Kaufman then reportedly attempted to flee the scene of the stop and was taken into custody shortly thereafter. The individual whose identity Kaufman attempted to use was contacted later and reportedly advised officers; permission
had not been granted to Kaufman to use their identifying information.

Michael K. Pulver-64 of Merrill, was charged November 14 with Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct.
According to court records, Pulver was reportedly involved in an incident in the City of Merrill on October 17, during which he was reportedly involved in an altercation with other parties inside of a residence. During the altercation, Pulver reportedly ‘screamed at the top of his lungs’ and used profanities toward others inside the
residence, as well as the investigating officer.
