Ronald “Ron” Joseph Hulke, age 78, of The Villages, FL went to be with Jesus His Savior on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born in Merrill, WI on February 12, 1938. Ron attended Merrill High School and graduated in 1956. He married Loretta “Pudgie” Wyland in June 1957 and the two located to Kenosha, WI where Ron was an auto worker and the two raised their family.
Ron was a man of faith and served in his churches in many ways but especially loved singing in the choir. He enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer as well a huge Packers and Badgers fan.
Ron was preceded in death by his father Ervin Hulke, stepfather Harold Volkman, mother Rena (Bondioli) Volkman, sister Bonnie Schmidt and a son Kirby Lee Hulke.
Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years Loretta, and children Theresa (Harley) Schubring, Steve (Olivia) Hulke, Michelle (Scott) Carpenter, Amy Hulke (E.J. Wright), 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Ronald Hulke will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2026 22nd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140 on Saturday, November 19. Visitation will be held at 10am with the service at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to local Hospice agencies.
