Church Mutual Insurance Company recently raised $131,279 for Merrill Area United Way. Employees raised $65,639.50 and the company matched it dollar for dollar.
The Merrill-based company, a long-time supporter of United Way, raised the money through various events and activities held at Church Mutual in late September. The company’s United Way contributions during the past 10 years now total more than $840,000.
“This company and its employees are vital to the success of our local United Way,” said Dee Olsen, executive director of the Merrill Area United Way. “Employees repeatedly demonstrate their commitment to the community, the agencies served by United Way and the people who need support in our community.”
