8:20 a.m.- A male was located sleeping behind the library. The male had an active arrest warrant and was taken to the jail.
2:12 p.m.- An officer investigated a vandalism complaint in the 300 block of East 1st Street.
2:50 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of East 2nd Street. The female occupant was cited for Operating after Revocation and was arrested for a Probation Violation. The male occupant was arrested for Obstructing an Officer. The male had a small bag on his person, which tested positive for methamphetamine. The male was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
9:58 p.m.- Officers made contact with a group of juveniles at the Merrill Festival Grounds. One adult male in the group was found to be in possession of marijuana. The male was also on Probation and was arrested for the violations.
October 1
6:49 a.m.- An officer investigated a theft from a vehicle in the 800 block of Grand Avenue.
6:59 p.m.- An officer investigated a theft from a vehicle in the 200 block of State Street.
October 2
2:23 a.m.- Officers were dispatched to the area of West Third and Liberty streets for a report of male subject that was yelling and creating a disturbance. The intoxicated male was located lying on the ground. The male subject was found to have two municipal warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
3:03 p.m.- An officer took a report of a vehicle that had been entered and the keys stolen. Another male subject who was also at the residence reported that his vehicle had been entered and items were taken. A possible suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.
