Jeanette R. Schulz

Jeanette R. Schulz, age 81, of Merrill, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at her home, under the loving care of her family and hospice services.

Jeanette was born September 11, 1934, in Wausau, daughter of the late Roland and Eleanor (Tucker) Lane. She married David C. Schulz on June 23, 1979. He survives. Jeanette attended Northcentral Technical College for two years, and had worked as a secretary in the financial aids department at the college for many years. She also dairy farmed with her husband in the Town of Pine River. Jeanette enjoyed both crocheting and needlepoint, traveling, gardening, and attending ‘Art in the Park’ in Wausau every year. Jeanette was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Pine River, the Ladies Aid of the church, and the Pine River Homemaker’s Club.

Survivors include her husband David C. Schulz, Merrill; daughter, Pam (Brian) Seehafer, Merrill; two sons, Ronald Braunel, and Mike (Jill) Braunel, Merrill; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Lane, Dodgeville, WI. Besides her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by a son, Rodney Braunel, and three siblings, Linda Calmes, and Vernon and Donald Lane.

A Memorial Service for Jeanette will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, September 2, 2016, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Pine River. The Rev. Greg Laska will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Friday at the church.
