2:12 a.m.- An officer investigated a vehicle entry in the 200 block of E. Fourth Street. The investigation is ongoing.
9:22 a.m.- An officer investigated a theft from a residence in the 900 block of Mill Street. The investigation is ongoing.
August 2
12:45 a.m.- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1200 block of E. Main Street and the male operator was found to have an active warrant. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
6:03 p.m.- An officer investigated a disorderly conduct complaint that had occurred at a residence in the 600 block of Division Street. A male party arrived at a residence unwanted and initiated an argument. The male party attempted to gain entry into the residence but was stopped by another party present. The male eventually left the residence and reported the incident to law enforcement. The male party who reported the incident was arrested for disorderly conduct.
9:17 p.m.- An officer investigated a theft from a residence in the 300 block of Cottage Street. The investigation is ongoing.
August 3
7:55 a.m.- An officer responded to a theft complaint. The victim had $40 stolen from their purse while at work. Investigation is ongoing.
6:44 p.m.- Officers responded to a battery complaint. The caller stated his neighbor came over and struck him in the face and then went home. Contact was made with the suspect who admitted to striking his neighbor. The male party was arrested for battery.
8:08 p.m.- An officer responded to an ATV complaint. The caller stated a male party was driving an ATV while intoxicated. The ATV was located and the male driver displayed signs of intoxication. The male was placed through field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The male was also arrested for numerous bail jumping violations.
9:32 p.m.- An officer took a complaint of a stolen firearm. The caller stated the firearm was in his unlocked vehicle and someone entered his vehicle and stole it. No suspects at this time. Investigation is ongoing.
August 4
10:06 a.m.- An officer responded to an animal complaint. The caller stated he was delivering mail in the area when he was chased after by a loose black lab dog. The mail carrier pepper sprayed the dog twice to keep it from attacking him. The dog owner was located and was cited for the violation.
August 5
11:56 a.m.- A female was brought to the jail for a probation violation.
3:56 p.m.- Officers investigated a domestic disturbance. The matter is ongoing.
11:12 p.m.- Officers received information about a male with an active warrant inside of a residence. Officers eventually forced entry into the residence and the male was taken into custody.
