A 27-year-old Illinois man was arrested early last Monday morning after deputies found a stolen vehicle. The Minocqua Police Department advised law enforcement to be on the lookout for a Chevy Tahoe with a boat and trailer that was stolen from a retail store around 5 a.m. The suspect was cited for driving on a suspended license and open intoxicants in the vehicle. He was then turned over to an Oneida County deputy to face vehicle theft charges in that county.

A 16-year-old Merrill woman was injured Monday morning after a single vehicle crash in the Town of Scott. The driver was transported from the scene to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

A 54-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested last Tuesday morning after deputies responded to a disturbance in the Town of King. Just after midnight a 911 call reported the incident. The man was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where he was charged with disorderly conduct. He was released Tuesday afternoon on a signature bond.

Tomahawk firefighters along with deputies responded to a reported structure fire on County Rd. L. Just after 11 p.m., a 911 caller reported the fire at an establishment in the Town of Bradley. Tomahawk firefighters received assistance from the Town of Nokomis Fire Department but the first deputy on the scene reported staff of the business had put most of the fire out before they had arrived.

A 19-year-old Merrill man was arrested late Wednesday night on a warrant charge out of Oneida County. A deputy stopped a vehicle on US Hwy. 51 just north of Merrill at 11:22 p.m. for having an expired registration. The man was also cited for driving on a revoked license and for having defective exhaust; he was brought to the Oneida County Jail on their warrant.

A 37-year-old Missouri woman was taken into custody after a single vehicle crash on Thursday evening in the Town of Bradley. At 5:35 p.m., cell 911 callers reported a vehicle had left US Hwy. 8 east of Gate Wood Heights Road and rolled over. The driver displayed signs of impairment. Following field sobriety tests she was taken into custody for first offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and a pipe commonly used to smoke it. The woman was released from the jail to a responsible party late Thursday night; a full report will be made to the Lincoln County District Attorney.

A 32-year-old Merrill man is in the Lincoln County Jail Friday afternoon after deputies and a warden from the DNR responded to a report of a suspicious man armed with an AR15 rifle. When deputies made contact with the man, he appeared intoxicated and he had the rifle. A check showed the man has three open felony bonds in Lincoln County Court charging him with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated as a repeat offender, possession of a switchblade knife, possession of marijuana as a repeat offender, resisting or obstructing an officer, and three felony counts of bail jumping. As a part of bond conditions the suspect is not allowed to drink alcohol. The suspect was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where he was booked.

The number of car deer crashes remains the same as last week with four being reported.
