The 2nd annual ‘Northern Round-up’ kicked off Friday morning in Gleason.

Following a two-day lineup of various events and live music, Saturday evening showcased a live “Flamethrower” contest. Despite intermittent rain. Platteville, Wis. native Jeremy Kisting and his 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air garnered resonating audience approval as the car’s 8-cylinder .283 cubic inch engine produced flames reaching over 20 feet into the air. This year’s festivities drew to a close Saturday night with a performance by the Wausau-based Rockabilly ensemble “The Nightcrawlers”.

The Northern Round-Up event is sponsored by Rooster Six Customs.
