Lincoln County 4-H Fair shrugs off storm

Today’s fair events got off to a thunderous start after a storm rolled by, bringing rain and cool air that slowly heated up as the clouds moved away to let the sun shine through.

Today saw many judging events, which include antiques, clothing, clothing revue, computers, crocheting, crocheting revue, cultural arts, field crops, foods & nutrition, home furnishing, knitting, knitting revue, photography, plant & soil science, and animal judging which included rabbits, sheep, swine and beef.

Other events scheduled for later today include Jagged Highway performing at the Bulls Falls Entertainment Tent (8:30 p.m. – close), Mark Wayne and Dually Noted performing at the Bone & Joint Tent (12- 5 p.m.) and country singer, songwriter and guitarist Caroline Cole performing at the Grand Stand main stage (7 p.m).
