The first annual Merrill Tractor Pull, sponsored by River Valley Bank, got underway at noon today with a car and antique tractor show and antique tractor pulls. Due to yesterday’s rain, the antique tractors are pulling at the end of the grandstand, reserving the main pulling track for tonight’s National Tractor Pullers Association main event, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Merrill Festival Grounds.
