Drug sale and search warrant leads to felony drug charges for Tomahawk woman.

Ashleigh M. Wright, 31 of Tomahawk-was charged June 24 with two Felony counts of Manufacture/Deliver Methmphetamine, Felony-Possession of Methmphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Felony-Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place and Felony-Possession of Paraphernalia to Manufacture Methamphetamine.
According to court records, Wright was involved in an incident on May 24 in the city of Tomahawk, during which she reportedly sold Methamphetamine to a confidential police informant.
On June 23, officers of the Tomahawk Police Department executed a search warrant on Wright’s residence; yielding additional Methamphetamine as well as various items of paraphernalia related to the saleĀ and distribution of Methamphetamine.

Lacey R. Matson, 24 of Athens-was charged June 30 with 8 Felony counts of Forgery and a misdemeanor charge of Theft of Moveable Property value under $2,500.
According to court records, between May 26 and June 3 Matson reportedly stole a checkbook from an elederly victim in the City of Merrill, then wrote and cashed seven checks in amount of $6,165. Matson reportedly attempted to cash and eighth check for $2,400.

Richard M. Nelson, 58 of Wausau-was charged June 29 with Felony-Possession of Methamphetamine and misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
According to court records, Nelson was involved in an incident on May 18 in the city of Merrill, during which he was reportedly found to be in possession of a pipe containing marijuana and a syringe containing a liquid substance which later tested positive for Methamphetamine.
