The Merrill Rotary Club recently donated $7,500 to the River Bend Trail for the beautification of Rotary Park, which will be at the trail head of the River Bend Trail.
The donation, given by club president Val Mindak and member Clyde Nelson, was accepted by members of the River Bend construction committee including Sue Weith, Eric Malm, Larry Hampel, Brenda Mueller, Jim Richardson and Tom Miller.
“The Merrill Rotary Club is grateful for all the hard work that has been done to create the River Bend Trail Mindak said.
“We are proud to be able to help add more great features to the trail.”
The Merrill Rotary Club continues to give back and help the Merrill Community, including their recent donation of funds to purchase a timing system for the Merrill Aqua Jays.
