On Monday afternoon at approximately 2:03 p.m., the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a logging accident in the town of Tomahawk off Bridge Road.
A 67-year-old male from Marathon County was injured when a tree he was cutting down fell the wrong direction and pinned him to the ground. Two frinds at the scene removed the tree from the victim.
Tomahawk EMS, Tomahawk Fire and Rescue and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded. The victim was transported from the scene by Spirit Air to Wausau Aspirus Hospital.
