Stabbing incident results in multiple charges for Tomahawk man

David W. Fish, 35 of Tomahawk– was charged June 8 with Felony-Substantial Battery Intending to cause Great Bodily Harm and Misdemeanor charges of Endangering Safety by use of a Dangerous Weapon and Disorderly Conduct.
According to court records, Fish is a suspect from in a stabbing incident which occurred at a residence in rural Lincoln County on June 6. The victim reportedly indicated she had been stabbed and sustained slash wounds to her legs.  Fish denied stabbing the victim but claimed he had accidentally cut the victim during an altercation. According to a report from investigating deputies and an investigator from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, two knives were found in a bedroom where the incident allegedly occurred, as well as blood evidence and a blood stained knife sharpener.
