Jeff Hetfeld, board vice president of the Merrill Area Public Schools, has announced that he will step down from his role effective immediately.
In an email to Board President Jen Seliger, Hetfeld didn’t give a reason for resigning.
“I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Hetfeld for his outstanding service to our school district and the entire Merrill area community,” said Seliger. “We wish Mr. Hetfeld the very best in his future endeavors.”
His current term was scheduled to end in 2017.
