Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins announced that today, Friday, May 20, his department along with the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a residence located at 1404 Tannery Rd. in the city of Tomahawk. The warrant was related to Possession of Child Pornography and Exposing a Child to Harmful Materials.
As a result, 29-year-old Joshua O.R. DeWitt was taken into custody on felony charges of Child Enticement and Possession of Child Pornography. Additional charges will be filed with the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office as well.
Chief Elvins stated that this arrest was part of a cooperative effort by his department and the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.
