Marilyn M. Hehling, age 74, died peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born to the late Ernest (Mildred) Burgener Sr. on October 14, 1941 in Merrill.
Marilyn graduated from Merrill Senior High School in 1959. She was on the Homecoming Court in 1958.
On March 4, 1961, she married Roger Hehling. He survives.
Marilyn worked for M&I Citizens American Bank for 39 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to rummage sales with her best pal, Sis, dancing, listening to music and going for cruises in one of their “Nifty Fifty Fords”.
Marilyn is survived by her husband: Roger Hehling of Merrill, son: Steve (Kim) Hehling of Merrill, brothers: Ernest Burgener Jr. of Merrill and James (Jean) Burgener of Wausau and sister: Marge Strandberg of Tomahawk.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest (Mildred) Burgener Sr., brothers-in-law and sister-in-law.
Per the families request, no service will be held. There will be a Celebration of Marilyn’s Life held at a later date.
