Merrill man’s behavior earns a trip to jail

On the night of Tuesday, Feb. 9, an officer on patrol observed a taxi cab drop a male off near a local tavern at which point the male fell to the ground.
The officer contacted the cab driver who indicated the passenger, 35-year-old Jesse Graap had indicated he lived a block away from the tavern.
Upon return to where Graap had been dropped off, the officer reportedly observed Graap stumbling around and urinating near the door of the bar.
According to officer notes, during contact with Graap he became loud and vulgar. Officers eventually learned where Graap resided and proceeded to give him a ride to his residence.
However, upon arrival at his residence, Graap reportedly spit inside the officer’s patrol car and became vulgar once again, upon stepping out of the car. As a result of his behavior, Graap was taken into custody on a charge of Disorderly Conduct and was transported to Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center for a blood draw, before being transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
