Michael “Flint” Parker

Michael “Flint” Parker, age 30, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at his home.  Flint was born July 28, 1985, in Tomahawk to Tina (Lawrence) Parker and Michael Parker.

Flint grew up in Tomahawk and attended Tomahawk School District.  After high school, he moved to Merrill and worked at Wausau Steel Corp, Northern Wire LLC and Walmart.  He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and collecting model cars.  His biggest passion was snowmobiling and couldn’t wait for the snow to fall.  He had a huge love for his children and his dog, Riley.

Survivors include his children, Damien Parker, Zoey Parker and Abby Schaper; his Mother, Tina (David Roeder) Parker, of Wausau; former spouse and longtime friend, Stacey Parker, of Merrill; 3 brothers, John (Erica) Zettler, of Rhinelander, Ben Parker, of Gleason, and Francis Parker, of Athens; and 1 Sister, Jasmine (Jed Buelow) Parker, of Tomahawk.

Flint was further survived by his Nieces and Nephews, Melinda, Westly, Landon, Conner and Skylar, along with many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Vesta and Owen Lawrence, and his Aunt, Tanya Lawrence.

Funeral Services for Michael Flint Parker will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Generations Funeral Home.  Pastor Joel Kuhner will officiate.  The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM from Generations Funeral Home and again on Friday, from 10:00 AM until the time of Services at 11:00 AM.  Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.  View Flint’s obituary and leave online condolences at generationsfuneral.com.
