The NTC Promise provides free college tuition for qualified high school graduates

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the NTC Promise, a new initiative providing free college tuition to qualified 2016 high school graduates. The NTC Promise will help local high school seniors realize their dreams of attending college while reducing financial barriers and ensuring a skilled workforce for our communities.
Through the generosity of the NTC Foundation, businesses and individual donors, NTC will cover the cost of tuition and fees after federal financial aid, state financial aid and scholarships have been applied. NTC will provide up to four consecutive semesters of tuition free attendance for qualified students who meet ongoing requirements, in addition to individual guidance and support from a dedicated advisor.
“We want to open the door to higher education and provide students with hope for a brighter future,” said Dr. Lori Weyers, President of NTC. “The NTC Promise gives students that hope with free college tuition and a support structure designed to help them succeed in their education.”
Interested students must apply to the NTC Promise and for admission to NTC by April 1, 2016. To learn more and have your questions answered, attend one of NTC’s upcoming information sessions at the Wausau NTC campus: Feb. 16, 3:30 p.m.; Feb. 18, 5:30 p.m.; Feb. 20, 12 p.m.; Feb. 23, 5:30 p.m.; Feb. 25, 3:30 p.m.; and March 3, 5:30 p.m.
