Lincoln County Circuit Court – charges filed

Dino R. Townsend, 38, Merrill, was charged Dec. 15 with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methampetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place (all charges as a repeat offender). He was released on a $2,500 signature bond. According to court records, Townsend was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by Merrill police on Dec. 14. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest. Police found 2.3 grams of methamphetamine on his person. Police executed a search warrant on Townsend’s Merrill residence Dec. 15 and found drug paraphernalia.

Anthony L.J. Boyd, 21, Merrill, was charged Dec. 15 with being party to the crimes of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methampetamine, and felony bail jumping. He was released on a $2,500 signature bond. According to court records, Boyd was the driver of a vehicle pulled over by Merrill police on Dec. 14. Found in the vehicle was a bag that contained 5.3 grams of methamphetamie and a digital scale.

Charles F. Cressy, 56, address unknown, was charged Dec. 15 with burglary to a building or dwelling and theft. A $500 cash bond was set. According to court records, Cressy broke into a city of Tomahawk residence on Dec. 14 and stole items including jewelry.

Brandon J. Peterson, 29, Merrill, was charged Dec. 14 with misdemeanor bail jumping. He was released on a $1,000 signature bond.

Jesse J. Kabble, 29, New London, was charged Dec. 16 with battery and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident that occurred on Dec. 15. He was released on a $1,000 signature bond and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Timothy R. Schultz, 30, Merrill, was charged Dec. 14 with operating after revocation and fleeing/eluding an officer. According to court records, Schultz led a Lincoln County deputy on a 25-mile chase at speeds up to 110 mph on Aug. 16, 2015.
