Dorothy M. Slewitzke, age 94, of Merrill, passed away December 3, 2015, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Dorothy was born June 25, 1921, in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Theresa (Styza) Slewitzke, Sr. Dorothy had worked for 40 years at Semling-Menke Company, Merrill. She was a very faithful life-long member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill. Dorothy was an avid reader. She also enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens and baking.
Survivors include her brother, John (Darlene) Slewitzke, Jr. of Merrill; two nieces, Debra (David) Kurtz of Waukesha and Dawn (Gerald) Anderson of New Berlin; one great-niece, Kelly (Richard Raney) Kurtz-Raney; and one great-nephew, Evan Anderson. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa Slewitzke, Sr.
A private funeral liturgy will be held. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
