November 23
2:30 p.m.- An officer was dispatch to a business on south Pine Ridge Avenue for an internal fraud investigation. Officer responded to the location and took an initial report. The investigation of the matter is still on going.
2:40 p.m.- An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of South State Street for a damaged back door. Officer found significant damage to the overhead door on the west side of the building. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
5:28 p.m.- An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of North Memorial Drive for a noise complaint. Officer responded and spoke with the complainant who stated that her upstairs neighbor was making loud noises and keeping her child awake. The upstairs neighbor was contacted and found to be damaging property on the floor making the loud noise. The damaged property belonged to the resident. The resident was told to stop making the noise and disturbing the downstairs neighbor.
November 24
An officer responded to the high school for a report of a student found in possession of marijuana. Contact was made with the student and marijuana was obtained. The student will be referred for possession of THC.
November 25
11:11 p.m.- An officer was dispatched to a suspicious activity incident in the 100 block of Pier Street. Contact was made with a new tenant to the apartment that showed the officer a door lock that appeared like someone tampered with it to gain entry into the apartment. Suspects were identified and contact will be made.
November 27
3:07 p.m.- An officer investigated a theft of sports memorabilia. The items were located and the suspect was identified.
6:45 p.m.- An officer investigated a retail theft complaint in the 500 block of Pine Ridge Avenue. The suspects were identified and the investigation is ongoing.
November 28
4:53 p.m.- An officer investigated a retail theft complaint in the 500 block of West Main Street. As a result, the male suspect was cited.
8:30 p.m.- An officer investigated a retail theft complaint in the 500 block of Pine Ridge Avenue. As a result, the female suspect was cited.
11:50 p.m.- Officers responded to a fight complaint in the 300 block of East 2nd Street. The investigation is ongoing and the suspects have been identified.
November 29
2:30 a.m.- Officer investigated a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Scott Street. As a result, a male was arrested for domestic related Disorderly Conduct.
2:02 p.m.- An officer investigated a harassment complaint. As a result, a male will be charged with violating a restraining order.
