Carol M. Bennett, age 80, died on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Acorn Hills in Mosinee, WI. She was born on November 6, 1935 to Theodore and Ella (Ketelhohn) Jensen in the township of Buena Vista in Portage, WI. Carol met and fell in love with John William Bennett Jr. and the two were united in marriage on October 3, 1959 in Stevens Point, WI. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2005.
Carol worked as a secretary at the Holy Cross Hospital in Merrill and at Marathon Electric. She would enjoy spending time reading a good book or working on her crossword puzzles. Carol would also take in a game of Bingo every once and awhile. When she was able, she would enjoy spending time out in nature, whether it was deer hunting or fishing.
Carol is survived by her brother: Donald (Brenda) Jensen, nieces and nephews and some very close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Theodore and Ella Jensen, her husband: John Bennett, her sisters: Darlene Jensen and Elaine Jensen-Price and one brother: Wayne (Pat) Jensen.
A private graveside service for Carol will be held at the Hillside Cemetery in Columbus, WI. at a later date.

Friends and family of Carol would like to extend a special thank you to Acorn Hills in Mosinee for their wonderful love and care that was shown to Carol during her eight years there. They also want to thank Aseracare Hospice for their continued care and support, Pastor Rick for the time that he dedicated to Carol and to Paul and Pat Rondo of Mosinee for their volunteer work with Carol, which eventually became a cherished friendship.
