2015 Merrill Homecoming Events

Friday, Sept. 18
1-3 p.m.- Floats & banners at fairgrounds; 10 students per class with permission forms.
3-5 p.m.- Floats & banners at fairgrounds; all students welcome. Students will be supplied with banner, one sheet of plywood, spray paint, paint, brushes, tarps, markers and butcher paper – students must provide anything else they want included on their float and bring it to the fairgrounds (class advisors will be making purchases that day).
3-5 p.m.- Window painting: Seniors, McDonald’s; Juniors, Culver’s; Sophomores, Chip’s; Freshmen, DuWayne Krueger Insurance Co.

Monday, Sept. 21
Dress-Up Day: Class Colors- Seniors, blue; Juniors, black; Sophomores, red; Freshman, white; Staff, gray.
7 p.m.- Powder Puff football game at Jay Stadium (female juniors vs. female seniors); $1 or donation of a canned food item admission to game.

Tuesday, Sept. 22
Dress-Up Day: Beach Day- All students, attire must be appropriate for school.

Wednesday, Sept. 23
Dress-Up Day: Class Distinction- Seniors, ‘80s; Juniors, TBA; Sophomores, nerds; Freshmen, TBA; Staff, Alma mater.

Thursday, Sept. 24
Dress-Up Day: Blue & White Day- All students, show your school spirit.
7:15 a.m.- Class skit review at fieldhouse (only students participating in skits)
1 p.m.- Pep assembly/class competitions at fieldhouse.

Friday, Sept. 25
7-10 p.m.- Bonfire at fairgrounds

Saturday, Sept. 26
10 a.m.- Parade preparations at fairgrounds
11 a.m.- Parade starts at fairgrounds
1:30 p.m.- Football game at Jay Stadium against Antigo Red Robins
8-11 p.m.- Homecoming dance at MHS fieldhouse; tickets $5 per person; guests of MHS students must leave photo IDs at the door with dance chaperones and must be 20 years old or younger; middle school students are not allowed to attend under any circumstances.
