Lobsterfest raises $3,500 for Safe Ride Home

Despite a short timeframe to pull the event together, the inaugural Merrill Lobsterfest sold out all 300 available tickets and produced a $3,500 donation to the Tomahawk-Merrill Tavern League for the Safe Ride Home program.

Based on the success of this year’s event, the second annual Lobsterfest is set for July 30, 2016. Mike Fick, one of the event’s organizers and owner of the host Ballyhoos, said he’s hoping to sell 500 tickets next year.
