Jerome W. Bonke, age 63, of Merrill, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
Jerome was born May 27, 1952, in Merrill, son of the late Walter and Stella (Schulz) Bonke, Sr. He married Judy Mohrland on October 4, 1975. She survives. Jerome had been a truck driver for 37 years. He drove for Lincoln Wood Products, Merrill, and J. Bauer Trucking, Medford. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and driving his trucks.
Survivors include his wife Judy Bonke, Merrill; one daughter, Jerilyn Taylor, Rib Lake; two sons, Jerome Bonke, Jr., Merrill, and Joseph (Jenny) Bonke, Wausau; nine grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jodee, Trinity, and Jersey Taylor, Brooke, Stephanie, Jared, Justin, and Jenna Bonke; one sister, Darlene Sense, Shawano; and one brother, Walter (Maxine) Bonke, Jr., Gleason.
A Memorial Service for Jerome W. Bonke will begin at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 10, 2015, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home. Pastor Missy Holdorf will officiate. Burial will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery, Town of Scott. Family and friends of Jerome will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 10th.
