Remembering Kyle Scholarship event

The third annual scholarship fundraising event for MHS graduates and their families will he held Sunday, July 12 at 2 p.m. in the Prairie River Middle School auditorium. Please enter through the pool doors, which will open at 1:30 p.m.
The scholarship is given to Merrill High School graduates whose lives have been personally touched by cancer, in memory of the Rekowski family’s four-year-old son, Kyle, who died of leukemia. Honored at the event will be the four 2015 RKMS recipients, their families, all cancer families and an event honoree.

Tickets are available at Merrill River Valley Bank locations, Dave’s County Market and Lee’s Piggly Wiggly. Donations may be made at River Valley Bank, Remembering Kyle Memorial Scholarship YOUCARING.COM account and at the event.
Lots of wonderful, live music is being generously presented by vocalists, musicians and volunteers, joined together for a wonderful cause. This year’s event will fund college scholarships for four 2015 MHS graduates, all of whom have experienced cancer in their immediate families. These four scholarships will bring the total RKMS awards to 14.
Please join us for a great music experience, while also supporting our graduate scholarship recipients, their families and all families who have faced cancer.
Any questions or donation information can be directed to Beth Anne Rekowski, event coordinator, at 715-539-1141 or 715-921-2018.
