Prairie River Middle School held its 16th annual Civil War Day Friday. Eighth grade students have been studying the Civil War and put on the annual re-enactment as the culminating activity. Students portray soldiers from both the North and the South, fashioning their own uniforms. Many volunteers are involved in putting on Civil War Day.
