Mary M. Narlock

Mary M. Narlock, age 67, died on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill. Mary was born on August 24, 1947 to the late Vincent and Ethelin (Kostrzak) Eiberger in Maniwa, WI. She attended and graduated from DC Everest in Wausau, WI. Mary had met Michael Narlock and the two exchanged vows of marriage on January 21, 1967 in Rothschild, WI. He survives.
Mary worked at Schofield Enterprises, at North Central Health Care Center in Wausau as a volunteer in the mail room, and most recently, at Hurd Manufacturing as a window maker, until retirement. She was also a legal guardian to a special friend at North Central Health Care Center in Wausau. Mary was known for her love of all animals. She would volunteer at the Lincoln County Humane Society, and even foster animals when needed. Mary enjoyed spending time at auctions with her friends, trying to get the best deal and also at rummage sales, picking up all kinds of treasures. She was a collector of pretty much everything! Mary also enjoyed a good camping trip. At times, she would just enjoy being at home playing her computer games.
Mary loved her family. She impacted so many people’s lives, so much so, that everyone around her would call her “mom”. She was a loving, giving and amazing lady. She took nothing, but gave everything – never expecting anything in return. Mary will be sadly missed.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Michael Narlock of Merrill; son, Lambert (Charity) Narlock of South Carolina; daughters, Laurie Lanala of Wausau and Barbara (special friend, Jimmy Cole) Hommerding of Gleason; grandchildren, Michael Narlock II, Mitchell Narlock, Mariah Narlock, Marshall Narlock, Andrew Baneck, Katie Lanala, Brett Lanala, Hunter Lane and Jase Cole; 2 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson; brother, Richard (Cathy) Eiberger of Freemont, WI; sisters, Mecia Kesler of Waupaca, Diane (David) Brinkman of Wittenburg and Gen (Maurie) Dennee of Ringo; sister-in-laws, Carol Eiberger, Nancy Narlock, Anne Narlock, Cathy (Pete) Peil, Marilyn (Bob) Stogbauer and MaryLou (Don) Krautkramer; brother-in-laws, Terry (Mary) Narlock, Dennis (Jan) Narlock and John (Gail) Narlock; many special nieces, nephews and friends and her beloved canine companions, “Princess” and “Peanut”.
