Three people were arrested after a search warrant was conducted at a Town of Merrill home.
Acting on information, Lincoln County deputies along with officers from the Merrill Police Department, went to the home at W5096 River View Rd. and executed the search warrant late Thursday afternoon.
In searching the home, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, hash oil and an AK47 style assault rifle along with a fully loaded extended magazine were located.
Several people were at the homes when officers arrived. All but one of the occupants acknowledged the dwelling was used for drug trafficking and admitted to consuming marijuana in the hours leading up to the search, including one of the suspects who informed deputies that she is three months pregnant.
Suspects arrested and charged include:
1. 26-year-old Eric A. Welch of Merrill was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver (F), possession of drug paraphernalia (M) and maintaining a drug trafficking place (F). During a bond hearing on Friday, he was released by a Lincoln County Judge on a $2,500 signature bond.
2. 21-year-old Alyssa N. Olund of Merrill was charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place (F), possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia (M). During a bond hearing on Friday, she was released by a Lincoln County Judge on a $2,500 signature bond.
3. 21-year-old Jacob D. Cooper of Merrill was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (M), possession of marijuana with intent to deliver (F) and maintaining a drug trafficking place (F). During a bond hearing on Friday, he was released by a Lincoln County Judge on a $1,500 signature bond.
