Dale A. Roman, age 70, of Merrill, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. 
Dale was born January 3, 1945, in Merrill, son of Mildred Roman, Merrill, and the late Alfred Roman. He married Sandy K. Baade on October 22, 1966, in Merrill. She survives. Dale was a retired employee of Wausau Paper Mill, Brokaw Division. Dale enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was fishing in his boat, camping, or hunting. He also enjoyed NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, visiting with people or helping them out, and spending time with his family. Dale was a member of the Merrill Eagle’s Club. 
Survivors include his wife, Sandy K. Roman of Merrill; two sons, Todd (Tammy) Roman and Chris Roman (with Paula Barta) both of Merrill; one beautiful granddaughter, Molly Kate Roman, and one awesome grandson, Nicolas Roman, both of Merrill; Paula’s son, Wyatt; one brother; his in laws, Rick Baade and Gerald (Rachelle) Baade both of Merrill, Larry (Sue) Baade and Ted Bloomfield both of Wausau, Jan Bloomfield of Sun City, AZ, and Sandy Roman of Clinton, WI; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Dale is preceded in death by a brother and a nephew. 
A Memorial Service for Dale A. Roman will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Pastor Missy Holdorf will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
