On Wednesday, Dec. 3 at about 12:44 p.m., the Lincoln County 911 Center received a call of a one vehicle crash on Joe Snow Road, just west of Mill Road with unknown injuries.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the vehicle was traveling westbound on Joe Snow Road and left the roadway, entering the ditch on the north side of the road and rolled over several times in a field. The investigation showed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Lincoln County Coroner.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s office is investigating the crash. Merrill fire department assisted at the scene. The name of the driver is currently being withheld pending notification of the family.
The 21 year old driver who died after a one vehicle rollover crash Wednesday afternoon has been identified. The initial investigation shows Matthew J. Lepak was westbound on Joe Snow Road just west of Mill Road when the vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest in a field. The investigation showed he was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The Lincoln County Coroner pronounced Lepak dead at the scene.
