Man survives fall from tree stand

On Monday at about 5:36 p.m., a 70-year-old man fell from his tree stand off Arm Strong Creek Road. He fell about 20 feet and was able to yell to a neighboring hunting companion who found him.
According to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office report, his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. He was removed from the woods with the assistance of the Tomahawk Fire Department and the use of their ATV. 
Tomahawk EMS and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded as well.
He was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
