Mary E. Gapko, born November 8, 1958, passed away peacefully on the wings of angels Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Lucas; granddaughters, Trinity and Ally; siblings, Paula (Bruce) Giles and Robert (Cassandra) Schroeder; special niece, Tanya (Gene) Guillaume; and her beloved dog, Maggie. Mary had many family members that she loved.
Mary was a person that touched many lives with her smile that made her eyes twinkle, her sense of humor, and her positive thinking. She had many interests that included traveling, shopping for a good bargain, and crafts; however, her greatest love was her family and friends. Mary was an avid Vikings fan and with a final word to all Packer fans – GO VIKINGS!
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be a memorial gathering at a future date but no funeral service. She wished for all to remember her by living a happy and full life.
